The Nassini Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 charity organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of underprivileged children and women in West Africa. Established in 2024, the Nassini Foundation is a testament to the enduring legacy of Mr. Tchaisso Gado Nassini, a compassionate individual whose passion for helping others knew no bounds.

Following his passing on January 9th, 2023, the foundation was born out of a deep-seated commitment to fulfill Mr. Nassini’slifelong aspiration of serving society and bringing joy to people’s hearts.

Under the passionate leadership of Mia Nassini, our Executive Director, the Nassini Foundation has tirelessly worked to improve the lives of Togolese communities. Mia’s personal dedication and sponsorship of various initiatives have positively impacted over 200 individuals and counting. While the foundation has made significant investments, the pressing needs of Togolese communities far exceed our current resources. Therefore, we actively pursue grant opportunities to expand our reach and effect positive change on a larger scale.

Our vision is to create an environment where women are equal partners in their communities, enjoying good health, economic security, and freedom from violence, while children have the opportunity to live healthy lives, unburdened by the most prevalent childhood diseases, fostering thriving communities for generations to come.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower women and children in rural communities of West Africa by promoting access to quality healthcare, maternal health, economic opportunities, and safety from gender-based violence. Through a holistic approach encompassing disease treatment, preventative measures, infrastructure development, and advocacy for women’s rights, we strive to create a lasting impact on the lives of the most vulnerable.

Project Goal

Reduce childhood illness and death rates in Rural Togo by 20% by 2027 through improved access to clean water, sanitation, and essential healthcare services for mothers and children.

Immediate Food Assistance & Donations to Food Banks

The issue of hunger and homelessness are deeply intertwined, and Pennsylvania is no exception. According to a 2023 report by the National Alliance to End Homelessness, on a single night, over 12,691 individuals in Pennsylvania lacked permanent shelter that is about 10 people homeless per 10,000.

The Nassini Foundation addresses food insecurity among Pennsylvania’s homeless population by providing direct food assistance. We partner with local food banks and pantries to distribute emergency food supplies and support their ongoing efforts to feed those in need. The Objective is to ensure that food assistance provided to the most vulnerable populations is appropriate, timely, effective, efficient, and based on needs and shared principles.

Hygiene Kits and Educational Supplies Distribution

Promoting good hygiene practices and ensuring access to essential supplies support a sense of normalcy and well-being for homeless individuals in Pennsylvania.

The Nassini Foundation provides essential hygiene kits and educational supplies to homeless individuals in Pennsylvania. This program promotes personal hygiene, improves well-being, and empowers individuals to participate more fully in daily life and seek employment opportunities.

We organize donation drives for hygiene products and new or gently used school supplies, assemble hygiene kits tailored to the needs of homeless individuals, partner with shelters and outreach programs for distribution, conduct workshops on hygiene practices

Partnership with Domestic Violence Organizations (DVOs)

Empowering women experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence, strengthens the capacity of DVOs in Pennsylvania to serve this specific population, raise awareness about domestic violence and its link to homelessness, promote healthy relationships and safety for women.

The Nassini Foundation establishes a collaborative partnership with Domestic Violence Organizations (DVOs) in Pennsylvania, with a specific focus on supporting women experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence. We aim to empower survivors by providing resources, raising awareness, and advocating for their safety and access to stable housing.

We support DVOs serving homeless women by donating essential items such as clothing, toiletries, bedding, and household goods. We also provide educational workshops on domestic violence, healthy relationships, and available resources for survivors.
